Plaza’s perfect 4 victories pace ‘Bullang-Bullang’

GOV. EDDIE Bong Plaza, co- champion of the 4,437-entry National Bakbakan Stag Derby last year, is a strong title contender in the ongoing NFGB Bullang Bullang 8-Bullstag Derby series.

Plaza extended his winning run via a clean 4-0 win-loss performance in last week’s eliminations.

Plaza, who will vie for the title on May 5 at Smart Araneta Coliseum, has the same perfect score as Rocky Remoquillo (NMGBA), Arnold and Edwin dela Cruz, Rodel Austria and Allan Cantal (BBC) and Bobot Arriola (GBAC).

Today’s eliminations sizzle at Lucky Sports Complex (Laguna), Nadongholan Cockpit (Ormoc) and Alixandra Cockpit (Zamboanga).

Other members of the National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (NFGB) may join the national eliminations at Pasig Square Garden on Apr. 23, 26 and 30.

Now managed by promoter Vinz Barabara, Pasig Square boasts a big parking area, spacious cockhouses and mango trees inside the cockpit that are ideal for gamefowl conditioning.
