MANILA, Philippines—Several players from the Philippines Football League did their part in helping the relief operations for the survivors of Typhoon Ulysses that battered Metro Manila and left Marikina and cities in Rizal submerged underwater.

Anthony Pinthus, Bienvenido Marañon, and skipper Stephan Schröck of champion Ceres FC put up their shirts and cleats for auction for the benefit of the typhoon survivors.

“Thank you to our PFL players for stepping up and helping out in their own way,” posted the PFL on its official Facebook account on Thursday with a reminder to their fans to keep visiting the page as some players will join the donation drive.
