MANILA, Philippines—Filipino strawweight contender Lito Adiwang suffered a split decision loss to Hiroba Minowa in ONE: Inside the Matrix III Friday at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Adiwang (11-3) saw his seven-fight winning streak get snapped after losing to the debuting Minowa, who had late control in the fight.

Minowa dodged a spinning heel kick and immediately scored a double leg takedown to take control of the second round.

He did a similar approach in the third staying on the mount for much of the final round.

This was Adiwang’s first loss since 2016 and his only blemish in ONE Championship after winning four of his past five fights in the promotion via submission or knockout.

Minowa (12-2), meanwhile, upped his winning streak to five matches.
