MANILA, Philippines — Thirdy Ravena and San-en fell to their fourth straight loss bowing to defending champion Alvark Tokyo in the First Division of the Japanese B.League Sunday at Toyohashi City General Gymnasium.
Ravena was aggressive for much of the match despite hurting his left ankle in the second quarter as he finished with 13 points, on 5-of-17 shooting, and five rebounds in 25 minutes of play.
That aggressiveness, however, did not lead to a different ending for NeoPhoenix, which dropped to 3-13 to stay at the bottom of the division.
Alvark, meanwhile, improved to a 10-5 record.
Center Stevan Jelovac led San-en with 19 points and 16 rebounds while fellow big man Kyle Hunt added 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
Alex Kirk had 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead Tokyo.
