Baltimore Ravens receiver Dez Bryant said he has tested positive for the coronavirus, and that he’s opting out of the rest of the season.

Bryant said he was surprised by the news, which prevented him from playing against the visiting Cowboys on Tuesday night. He was on the field at M&T Bank Stadium about two hours before the game, but he did not join his teammates for their full-team warmup.

The Ravens (6-5) announced he was scratched from the game due to an illness, and shortly before kickoff, Bryant’s Twitter account posted: “I’m going to go ahead and call it a quit for the rest of the season.”
