Scottie Thompson proposes to longtime girlfriend Pau Fajardo

MANILA, Philippines—Scottie Thompson recently secured his fifth championship with Barangay Ginebra in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup, but it was now his turn to give a ring.
As the years turned, Thompson got engaged to longtime girlfriend Pauline Fajardo in a private celebration with their families.
“She said yes!” posted Thompson on Instagram along with videos of how the proposal went down.

In an elaborate proposal, Thompson laid out candles and formed a heart shape on the living room floor using scores of rose petals.
Thompson then presented a series of videos before going down on one knee to ask the all-important question.
Fajardo also posted on her Instagram stories a Boomerang of Thompson and the ring.
“I love you fiancé!” wrote Fajardo on her post.
