Atlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari’s MRI on his sprained right ankle confirmed he will be sidelined for at least two weeks, the team announced on Twitter.

Gallinari sustained the injury early in the first quarter during Wednesday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets. He has played just two games this season, as he’s been hampered by a left foot contusion he suffered in the season opener.

Gallinari, who the Hawks acquired in November from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for cash and a second-round pick in 2025, hasn’t played more than 68 games in a season since the 2012-13 campaign.

Gallinari has averaged nine points and 2.5 rebounds in two games this season and 16.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in his 13-year career, spanning 613 games.
