MANILA, Philippines — Thirdy Ravena is expected to miss the B.League All-Star Game due to a fractured finger.
The Filipino basketball star hurt his finger during San-En NeoPhoenix’s game against SR Shibuya last Saturday and was diagnosed with a right fourth finger metacarpal oblique fracture, according to the team.
“I met with the team doctor and physiotherapist for my injury rehabilitation following the incident last Saturday,” Ravena posted on Instagram on Monday.

“We are now in the process of getting myself back to a hundred percent as soon as we can but I do understand that it will be an arduous journey to recovery.”
Last month, the 24-year-old guard was selected to participate in the B.League All-Star Game and the slam dunk contest slated on Jan. 14 and 15 in Mito.
His absence also dealt a big blow to struggling San-En’s campaign. The NeoPhoenix currently own the second-worst record in the league at 5-22.
Ravena also said he is focused on coming back “stronger than ever.”
“I’ll be taking this time to realign and refocus so that I can give you the best version of myself the next time I step on the court.”
