UAAP squads Far Eastern U and Adamson gauge each other’s strengths, even as Letran seeks its second straight victory today in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Hanes Cup at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
The Tamaraws and Falcons clash for the first time since the Final Four of the UAAP tournament last season at 3:30 p.m., before the Knights face the La Salle Green Archers.

The Tamaraws will be playing without guard Terrence Romeo and forward Clarence Foronda, who were both slapped with one-game suspensions after their scuffle with Pirates’ Faustine Pascual in the 72-50 victory last Monday.
The Falcons offer a stern test for the Tamaraws with a team built around big man Rodney Brondial and Jericho Cruz, who were instrumental in the 80-64 conquest of St. Benilde last week.
“FEU is always a tough team to beat,” said Adamson coach Leo Austria.
The Green Archers are looking for a breakthrough victory, after dropping their opening-day assignment to San Beda.
