Depleted Clippers frustrate Heat

The depleted Los Angeles Clippers got a game-high 32 points from Marcus Morris Sr. and held off the visiting Miami Heat 125-118.

The Clippers, who improved to 21-8 to remain behind Utah at the top of the West, played without Kawhi Leonard, Patrick Beverley and Paul George.

Ivica Zubac added 22 off the bench for the Clippers, who went 15-of-32 from long distance against the Heat.

Morris did his part in keeping them on pace when he scored 26 in the first half, including 6-of-7 from beyond the arc.

Bam Adebayo scored 27 points and added a game-high 12 rebounds for the Heat. Jimmy Butler recorded a triple-double with a team-high 30 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds for the Heat.

Tyler Herro came off the bench to score 27 points.
