Animam stars in another Shih Hsin University win in Taipei
MANILA, Philippines — Jack Animam played true to form as Shih Hsin University pulled away in the second half to steamroll Fo Guang, 92-50, in the University Basketball Alliance Saturday at Taipei Stadium.
Animam spearheaded the Tigers’ attack on both ends with 17 points, 16 rebounds, three steals and three blocks.
Article continues after this advertisementShih Hsin took total control of the game in the third quarter after it outscored Fo Guang, 27-5.
With the Filipino import leading the way, the Tigers improved their record to 3-0 in the semifinals.
Animam got ample help from her teammates with Lin Die scoring 20 points that went with six steals while Deborah Onianwa and Chen Yuti also finished in double-digits with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
