MANILA, Philippines — Chris Paul climbed the NBA’s all-time assist leader board, surpassing the legendary Oscar Robertson for sixth place.

The 10-time All-Star has now racked up 9,891 total assists–one more than Robertson’s mark–after Phoenix’s 128-97 win over Memphis Sunday (Manila time) at FedExForum.

Paul achieved the feat when he dished out to an open Mikal Bridges for a three-pointer from the left wing midway through the second quarter.

His milestone came on the heels of his 19-assist performance in a 132-114 win over New Orleans for his highest single-game assist total in four seasons.

The 35-year-old point guard is the leading assist man among active players with close friend LeBron James at second with 9,592.

Paul is averaging 8.6 assists per game for the Suns, a mark that’s also the highest in four seasons, and his career average of 9.4 dimes ranks fourth in NBA history behind Magic Johnson (11.2), John Stockton (10.5), and Robertson (9.5).
