MANILA, Philippines—James De Los Santos snagged his seventh gold medal in his 2021 campaign after his title run in the Adidas USA Karate Open E-Tournament #2.
The no.1-ranked eKATA player in the world defeated Romania’s Andrei Gabriel Nedelcu, 25.1-24.7.
De Los Santos has now claimed a total of 43 gold medals since he started his run midway last year.
His latest win was his third gold medal in one week after he collected titles in the Athlete’s eTournament Series #1 and Budva Winner-Aria Cup #1 eTournament.
As it stands, De Los Santos has 21,060.00 points in the eKATA Individual Males Seniors division, nearly more than double that of no.2 Matias Moreno Domont of Switzerland who has 10,710.00 points.
