The addition of Sta. Lucia further intensifies the competition with the Lady Realtors boasting the likes of Mika Reyes, who came on board last year, and Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, who was recently recruited by the team.
Reyes, the former La Salle standout, will make her PVL debut while also rekindling her rivalry with ex-Ateneo ace Alyssa Valdez, who spearheads Creamline.
The rest of the league is composed of Bali Pure, BanKo Perlas, Cignal, Choco Mucho, Petro Gazz, PLDT, Unlimited Athletics Club and guest teams Army and Air Force.
The PVL is set to launch its maiden professional season on May 8 inside a bubble at Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna.
