No surprise: Munzon is top overall pick by Terrafirma in PBA Draft
MANILA, Philippines—Philippine international Joshua Munzon is headed to Terrafirma after he was selected first overall in the PBA Draft for Season 46 Sunday.
An established player in both the 5×5 and 3×3 circuits, Munzon is expected to fill in the previous role of CJ Perez, who was traded to San Miguel.
Munzon, however, will not be alone in carrying the offense as he joins 2019 top pick Roosevelt Adams.
A 6-foot-4 wing, Munzon spent the two years prior to the draft representing the Philippines in several Fiba 3×3 World Tours and his exposure in the half court setting made him the country’s no.1 player in the discipline.
As of posting time, Munzon is the No. 107 3×3 player in the Fiba rankings.
