Pedroche feathered fighters top Malabon, La Loma derbies

FRESH off his victory at Dampalit Cockpit in Malabon on March 28, long-time gamefowl breeder Romano Pedroche struck again and bagged the championship of the La Loma Cockpit Post-Easter 4-Cock Derby last April 17 and 24.

In partnership with Mike Tan, Pedroche’s entry “CT RPED TED,” averaged 15 seconds each in posting four quick wins.

The son of veteran sportscaster Ray Pedroche, Romano, a successful nurse in Australia, produces 300 stags a year at his RPED Game Farm in Bacolod City and regularly joins local derbies.

Six other entries shared top honors in the La Loma event, namely, Top Gun, Erich Farmville, Corkscrew, Fearless, Isla Riders and Milagroso.
