PBA D-League: Gems snap Pacific Pipes’ 4-game streak
MANILA, Philippines—Vic Manuel had his usual efficient night while Lester Alvarez caught fire as Cebuana Lhuillier won in a highly physical battle over RnW Pacific Pipes, 100-85, Monday in the 2012 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the San Juan Gym.
Manuel finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds in just 21 minutes. Alvarez added 23 points, 15 from beyond-the-arc.
The Gems snapped the Steel Masters’ four-game winning streak.

The Gems forced 18 errors from the Steelers, which resulted in 20 turnover points.
Back-to-back treys from Alvarez that extended Cebuana’s lead to 15—92-77—put the game out of reach.
