MANILA, Philippines — Jordan Clarkson has been turning a lot of heads playing his best basketball for the league-leading Utah Jazz this season.
One of the many impressed by the Filipino-American guard’s play is former NBA veteran Jeremy Lin.
Lin, the first American NBA player of Taiwanese descent, also offered praise for basketball-crazy Filipinos.

Clarkson is the frontrunner for the Sixth Man of the Year award this season, averaging a career-best 17.3 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
With Clarkson playing an instrumental role, the Jazz have emerged as the best team in the NBA at 38-12.
The 28-year-old is in his ninth NBA season. He’s averaged more than 11 points per game since entering the league as a second round pick (46th overall) by the Washington Wizards, who then traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night.
Last November, Clarkson signed a four-year $52 million contract extension with the Jazz.
