MANILA, Philippines — Nursing a knee injury, Thirdy Ravena was reduced to a spectator as San-En NeoPhoenix took a 105-101 overtime loss to Osaka Saturday in the B.League.

Ravena, a key cog for San-En, will miss the second game of a back-to-back against Osaka on Sunday.

Ravena, who serves as one of the team’s imports, has been hit with a series of setbacks in his first stint with San-En.

The 24-year-old guard had already missed some time last year due to COVID-19 before suffering a right hand injury that required surgery back in January.

But when healthy, Ravena has been a solid contributor for San-En averaging 9.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in close to 23 minutes through 18 games played so far.
