Chloe Cortez joins F2 Logistics ahead of PVL season

MANILA, Philippines—F2 Logistics added another middle blocker to its ranks after signing up University of Santo Tomas alumna Chloe Cortez, the team announced Friday.

Cortez joins Any Maraño, Lourdes Clemente, and Mary Joy Baron as the team’s enforcers in the middle heading into the Cargo Movers’ first foray into the Premier Volleyball League.

“Her versatility as an athlete, championship experience, intense passion and vibrant personality make her one good addition!” posted F2 Logistics. “Chloe, welcome to family.”

Cortez was a member of the Petron teams that won the 2018 All Filipino, 2018 Grand Prix, and 2019 Grand Prix titles in the Philippine Superliga.

The 5-foot-11 Cortez, along with Kianna Dy and Baron, is the third tallest player in the Cargo Movers behind 6-foot-1 open spiker Kalei Mau and 6-feet Clemente.

F2 Logistics is tied with Petron for the most PSL titles with five.
