MANILA, Philippines — With the PBA still exhausting all measures to get its much-delayed 46th season underway, Chris Ross used the hiatus the best way he could.

San Miguel Beer’s do-it-all guard still found a way to get better off the basketball court as he finally earned his bachelor’s degree at Marshall University.

“Yesterday, May 1st 2021 I officially graduated from Marshall University!!! It was a LONG time coming but I used quarantine as a time to better myself and finishing some things that I didn’t get to finish when I was first presented with the situation,” Ross posted on Instagram.

“I wish I was able to go back to campus and walk the stage but unfortunately I wasn’t. I’m proud and giving myself a pat on the back for never giving up on myself and finally getting it done! I’m officially a college graduate!”

The 36-year-old Ross finished his collegiate career at Marshall, a US NCAA Division I school in Huntington, West Virginia, where he played from 2005-2007.
