This came days after PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial met with Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea in hopes of getting the 2021-22 PBA season get started.

Marcial and his staff already conducted ocular inspections on three Batangas Gyms that could host PBA teams for practices.

The commissioner had said the league is also hoping to start practices by May 16. He is due for a press conference this afternoon to discuss further details after the IATF nod.
