MANILA, Philippines — Nine PBA teams are set to restart training in Batangas City.
Three sites in Batangas Coliseum, Batangas State University Gym and Lyceum-Batangas Gym will host the practices under a closed-circuit setup, as per the PBA website.
Metro Manila and its nearby provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal have been placed under general community quarantine (GCQ) “with heightened restrictions” from May 15-31.
Among the limitations of the lockdown is holding of indoor sports and scrimmages.
The three teams under the MVP umbrella have opted to train elsewhere.
Meralco and TNT decided to do their camps in Laoag, Ilocos Norte while NLEX will hold its training in Clark, Pampanga.
