Actor Gomez eyed for PSC position

ACTOR Richard Gomez is in the list of possible replacements of resigned PSC commissioner Chito Loyzaga.

PSC chair Richie Garcia refused to name candidates but a source told the Inquirer that Gomez and Reynaldo Pineda, lawn balls chief, have been added to the list.

“We’re hoping that a new commissioner will be named within the month,” said Garcia.

Earlier mentioned as possible replacements were retired Gen. Lucas Managuelod, Muay Thai president, and senior golfer Iggy Clavecilla.

The names of former commissioners Cynthia Carrion and Ely Bontigao, businessman Jun Sevilla and sof tennis head Jeff Tamayo were also floated.
