Azkals get Doha training camp going
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Azkals on Tuesday wrapped up the first day of their training camp in Doha, Qatar.
The Azkals are in Qatar for their buildup ahead of the Joint 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled next month in Suzhou, China.
Article continues after this advertisementOf the twenty-five players called up, 13 of whom, led by skipper Stephan Schrock, are already in Doha.

Alongside Schrock in the camp are Angel Guirado, Patrick Richest, Jarvey Gayoso, Mark Hartmann, Michael Kempter, Luke Woodland, Mar Diano, Alvaro Silva, Matt Baldissimo, Bernd Schipmann, Mark Winhoffer and Niko De Vera.

From Qatar, the Azkals will fly to China on May 31 for the qualifiers where they play Guam on June 3, China on June 9 and Maldives on June 15.
