TRS duo 1-2 in Batangas race
PROMISING racers Flynn Jackes and Wil Casequin fueled the strong showing of the Tuason Racing School (TRS)-Castrol Kids Team in the second leg of the National Karting Series recently at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas.
Jackes captured the Mini-ROK crown after ruling the eight-lap final race with a time of 11 minutes and 54.803 seconds, an impressive 7.443 seconds ahead of his closest pursuer.
Jackes earlier clocked a best time of 1:30.350 in the qualifying time trials before posting a personal BRC best lap time of 1:28.998 in the pre-finals.

Jackes and Casequin were among the standouts in the pioneer batch of the Castrol Champions of the Future program last year.
“As expected, our young recruits started to show their worth in this series,” said TRS president JP Tuason. “They’ve shown improvements as far as skills, defense and racing attitude are concerned.”
