WATCH: NBA finals-bound Chris Paul, Obiena banner latest Newsmakers

MANILA, Philippines — An intriguing NBA Finals is set while rising Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena continued to impress as the Tokyo Olympics nears.

The Milwaukee Bucks made their first trip to the finals since 1974 to face the Chris Paul-led Phoenix Suns, who are eyeing their first-ever championship.

Also making the latest Newsmakers’ list are Gilas Pilipinas and Filipino swimmers Luke Gebbie and Remedy Rule, who completed the Philippine contingent to the Tokyo Olympics.
