MANILA, Philippines — Lionel Messi’s crowning moment with Argentina and Novak Djokovic’s historic Grand Slam feat at Wimbledon banner the latest edition of Newsmakers.
Messi won his first major trophy with the national team after Argentina beat Brazil in the Copa America final while Djokovic, one of tennis’ greatest players, clinched a record-tying 20th Grand Slam title
The Milwaukee Bucks, who bounced back in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, also made the list along with newly-minted Wimbledon women’s singles champion Ash Barty and former UFC champion Conor McGregor.
