MANILA, Philippines — The Premier Volleyball League kicks off its much-awaited return with a triple header on Saturday in Ilocos Norte.

PLDT and Chery Tiggo will open the PVL’s maiden professional season at 1 p.m. before Cignal HD and the Perlas Spikers clash at 4 p.m.

Games will be held at PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte.

Defending Open Conference champion Creamline and Sta. Lucia cap off opening day at 7 p.m.

The PVL hasn’t played a game since last year due to the pandemic. The league, which turned pro last November, will play in a bubble environment.

The eliminations will be single round with the top four teams moving on the playoffs.
