Superal takes control at Norman with a 70
GEN. TRIAS—Princess Superal came out hot after an hour-long weather delay on Wednesday, shooting three of her four birdies to fire a two-under-par 70 and wrest a two-shot lead heading into the final round of the P750,000 ICTSI Eagle Ridge Ladies Classic at the complex’s Norman layout.
Superal played her final nine at three-under and will take a 142 aggregate and leading Chihiro Ikeda going into the last 18 holes as she shoots to win for the second straight week.
Article continues after this advertisementIkeda, the former Southeast Asian Games hotshot, matched par to be at 144, with Chenelle Avaricio, who placed second to Superal at Sherwood Hills, shooting a 73 to be another shot back.
The third pretournament favorite, Harmie Constantino returned a 74 for 149, with first round leader Daniella Uy struggling to a 77 to be four shots off the pace and needing to go low on Friday to have a chance.
Uy had six bogeys and only one birdie that came on hole No. 7.

She started the day tied with Superal just a shot off the lead but will now enter the final round 10 shots behind.
