MANILA, Philippines — Filipino boxer Irish Magno suffered an injury while training in Tokyo on Monday, as per Team Philippines Chef de Mission Mariano “Nonong” Araneta said.

Magno hurt her right ankle while jumping rope but her injury doesn’t seem to be much of a concern as she was quickly given treatment by her coach Nolito “Boy” Velasco.

“I immediately put some ice on it and when doc Randy (Molo) took a look at it, she was okay,” Velasco said.
