MANILA– Korean exapts dominated action in the recent penultimate leg of the ICTSI Jungolf Summer Circuit with Hwang Kang Youl and Cho Byung Kyu leading a 1-2 finish in boys Class A at the Canlubang Golf and Country Club. Youl posted a 54-hole total of 213 to beat Cho by 10 strokes in the 15-17 years category even as four other Koreans topped their respective divisions. The summer circuit, which ends at the Ayala Greenfields course, is also supported by Philippine Airlines, Teriyaki Boy, Sizzling Pepper, Golf Depot, Chevrolet, Friends of Jungolf, Duty Free, San Miguel Corp., Coca Cola and Inquirer Golf. Marvi Monsalve (243) prevented a fifth Korean win when she routed Choi Yeon Hwa (275) for the girls Class A division. Lawrence Celestino and Kat Borja were the winners in the special division while Ira Alido beat Aidric Chan for the boys Class D trophy.
