Tuason’s Germany stint draws racing sponsors
TUASON Racing School has earned the support of a giant tire and rubber company for its stint in the Porsche Sports Cup set May 12 and 13 at the Nurburgring F1 Circuit in Germany.
Bridgestone will back TRS president JP Tuason, with country manager Mars Sota saying they believe in the champion driver’s skills and talent.
“JP’s stint will open opportunities for Filipinos on the international racing scene,” said Sota. “We believe that Filipinos are built for racing. They have the suitable body frame and passion for speed.”

Castrol Oil is also supporting Tuason’s participation. The motor oil company and TRS are behind the karting program “Castrol Champions of the Future” which helps get children as young as 7 years old get into racing.
“Participation in events of this caliber will not only equip us with the needed experience but also prepare and inspire more Filipinos to race in the global arena,” said Tuason. “It also will further establish Tuason Racing School’s reputation in Asian racing,” Steve Silva, Contributor
