Inquirer brings Olympics to audience through widest platforms

TOKYO—Team Philippines has no plans to ease up on its medal chasing ways with the Tokyo Olympics approaching its home stretch, and neither does the Inquirer have plans of slowing down when it comes to chronicling history.

With its daily print coverage and online breaking stories and features, Inquirer is producing content across multiple platforms to give audiences its fill of Summer Games action straight from Tokyo.

On print, Inquirer produces long-form stories that provide context and detailed behind the scenes offerings that provide readers a glimpse of how history is being written by the gallant national athletes here.

The print platform, which also features in-depth human interest stories, can also be accessed via the paper’s digital offering. The digital platform app,  Inquirer Plus, is also available on the iTunes app store and Google Play store.

The Inquirer’s online channel, meanwhile, produces breaking news that provides real-time updates on how the national athletes’ are doing here. The Sports site has also created a special page for the Olympics, with rich media resources like explainers, features and video offerings.

Inquires Sports’ Facebook page curates links of the top stories from the Olympics—foreign and local—and all Olympic video offerings. Its Twitter account (@INQUIRERsports) offers story links and excerpts plus live updates and photos during ongoing events. Both social accounts also produce informative graphics and animated readables that can further enrich followers’ Olympics content-consumption.
