MANILA—LA Revilla hit the big shots down the stretch as La Salle nipped rival Ateneo, 66-61, yesterday to claim the last quarterfinal berth in the FilOil-Flying V Hanes Preseason Premier Cup.
Revilla—back in form after an illness sidelined the young guard for two seasons—drilled a pair of clutch baskets that shattered a 61-61 deadlock for a 65-61 La Salle lead with just 15.8 seconds left.
