MANILA, Philippines—The national boxers are not letting quarantine stop their fitness routines as they spend their time in isolation in Tagaytay.

Tokyo Olympics silver medalists Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam, bronze medal winner Eumir Marcial, and Irish Magno all arrived in the Philipines on Monday after the most successful Philippine team in the Summer Games.

The four, along with the rest of the boxing team, are now serving their government-mandated quarantine at Summit Ridge Tagaytay hotel but being holed up inside their hotel rooms haven’t stopped their rigorous exercise regimens.

Under strict protocols, the boxers are only allowed to stay in their rooms and their attached balconies and are not even allowed to go out the hallways.

The team will be allowed to leave Tagaytay on August 18 after clearing quarantine protocols.
