MANILA, Philippines–Top atomweight contender Denice Zamboanga and Fil-American bet Jackie Buntan showcase their wares in the rescheduled all-women ONE: Empower fight card set to broadcast on September 3.
The bout, featuring ONE strawweight world champion Xiong Jing Nan against Michelle Nicolini in the main event, was originally scheduled for May 28 but was postponed due to rising cases of COVID-19 in Singapore.
Three additional fights were announced for the new dates.
Zamboanga, ranked No. 1 in her weight class, takes on veteran South Korean fight Seo Hee Ham, who makes her promotional debut, in the quarterfinals of the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix.

The delay helped the undefeated Filipino bet sharpen her skills more for Seo, who has an impressive resume after plying her trade in several promotions including Rizin FF and UFC.
Meanwhile, the US-based Buntan clashes with newcomer Daniela Lopez in the ONE Super Series Muay Thai lead card.
In the other Grand Prix fights, No. 2 Meng Bo of China faces India’s Ritu Phogat while third and fourth seeds Stamp Fairtex and Alyona Rassohyna of Ukraine battle in a rematch.
