MULTI-TITLED Wang’s Ballclub will join the 8th Zheng Chenggong Cup international invitational men’s basketball slated May 16 to 21 in Nanan City, Fujian Province, China.
Managed by businessman-sportsman Alex C. Wang and handled by coach Pablo Lucas, the Mandaluyong-based team will be the Philippine representative in the quadrennial event.
A regular campaigner in the Millennium Basketball League, Wang’s Ballclub will play against select teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and host China.
“It’s really a big honor for Wang’s Ballclub to represent the country,” said Wang, whose wards are being supported by PRC Couriers and Aquadys Incorporated. Head of delegation is Alvin Tai Lian with Wang as his deputy. Albert Andaya Jr. is the team leader.
