MANILA, Philippines—The game between Meralco and Barangay Ginebra in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup has been postponed, marking the second time this week that a match was rescheduled in the league’s resumption in Bacolor, Pampanga.

The defending champion Gin Kings were originally set to meet the Bolts at 4:35 pm Sunday but it was moved to a later date due to the league’s health and safety protocols.

Blackwater’s 2 p.m. game against Terrafirma is being played as of posting time while Magnolia’s 7 p.m. match against TNT was moved to 4:35 pm.

The PBA on Saturday also postponed the game between San Miguel and Alaska on that day’s tripleheader due to safety protocols.

Both Ginebra and Meralco were coming off losses against Terrafirma and TNT, respectively.

The Bolts hold a 5-2 record at the third spot in the standings while the Gin Kings are in seventh with a 2-3 card.
