MANILA, Philippines—Fil-American figure skater Sofia Frank showed her readiness ahead of her Olympic qualifier later this month.
Frank copped the bronze medal in the 2021 Colorado Springs Invitational recently.
The 15-year-old, born to a Filipino mother and American father in Los Angeles, collected a total of 90.13 points to make the podium in the senior ladies free skate class.
Courtney Hicks ruled the event with 100.53 points while Sonja Hilmer seized the silver with 95.85 points.
Frank is one of three Filipinos aiming to qualify for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, which will be held from Feb. 4-20 next year.
She vies for a ticket to China in the 2021 Nebelhorn Trophy, a qualifying event, scheduled from Sept. 22-25 in Oberstdorf, Germany.
