AVC: Rebisco overwhelmed by Supreme Chonburi
MANILA, Philippines—Supreme Chonburi gave a rude welcome to the returning players of Team Rebisco as the Thai club dominated the Filipinos, 25-11, 25-16, 25-16, in the 2021 AVC Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship Saturday at Terminal 21 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
Skipper Aby Maraño, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Eya Laure, and Ivy Lacsina were just cleared to play in the tournament following added health and safety protocols but their return meant little to the Pink Dolphins, who are three-time champions in the Thailand League.

Waranya Srilaoong gave the Pink Dolphins a nine-point lead, 22-13, with a down-the line kill that breezed through Rebisco’s defense.
Pleumjit Thinkaow then put Supreme Chonburi at match point, 24-15, with a block on Lacsina
