MANILA, Philippines—Ray Parks missed Nagoya’s Japan B.League season opener on Saturday due to a muscle injury, the team announced Saturday.

In a statement, the Diamond Dolphins said Parks sustained the injury during practice.

Parks’ timetable for return is also yet to be known at this point.

Nagoya could’ve certainly used the services of Parks and his all-around brilliance in a narrow 80-77 loss to the Sun Rockers Shibuya.

The 28-year-old guard, who last played for the TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA where he had a stellar 2020 Philippine Cup campaign, is also likely out for Nagoya’s second game against Shibuya on Sunday.
