CALVIN Abueva and Ian Sangalang go for another pair of big games when San Sebastian guns for a second victory in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Hanes Cup today.

The Stags, who recovered last week from an unexpected 0-2 start, tackle the St. Benilde Blazers in the Group B match at 5:15 p.m. at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Letran, also toting a 1-2 card in Group A, clash with the winless Perpetual Help at 3:30 p.m., before Arellano University and Emilio Aguinaldo College battle at 1:45 p.m.

Abueva had a phenomenal output of 29 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and three blocks to lead the Stags to their first win last week—a 78-68 decision against Adamson.

Sangalang also posted 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Stags, who plunged into action in the preseason tournament just days after returning from training in the United States.

The Stags are favored over the Blazers (1-3) even with top gunner Carlo Lastimosa back from a one-game suspension.

Lastimosa, along with Ralph Deles, sat out the Blazers’ loss to Far Eastern U, 74-67, last week as penalty for figuring in a scuffle.
