MANILA, Philippines—Jimuel Pacquiao, the eldest child of the legendary Manny Pacquiao, was shown to be training with current pound-for-pound king Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

In a video on ESNews, Jimuel was shown working out with Alvarez’s coach first before the unified super middleweight champion showed the 20-year-old Pacquiao some tips.

Alvarez, the holder of the WBA Super, WBC, WBO, and Ring Magazine titles, is preparing for his unification match against IBF champion Caleb Plant on November 6.

Manny, who has has five children—Jimuel, Michael, Princess, Queenie, and Israel—officially retired from the sport amassing a 62-8-2 record and winning 14 World titles across eight weight classes.

Jimuel, meanwhile, is 4-1 in his amateur career.

The elder Pacquiao, who is running for President in the 2022 elections, once said that he had urged Jimuel to stay out of the ring.
