Big Chill ties Cebuana for 2nd
In a game its coach said was perfect, Big Chill overwhelmed Erase Plantcenta, 106-69, yesterday and pushed the Super Chargers within a win of a semifinal stint in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena.
“We didn’t do anything wrong in this game,” said Big Chill mentor Robert Sison. “The rust factor didn’t set in because the players were very eager to compete after a two-week break.”
Jessie Collado pumped in 16 points and five other Super Chargers scored in double figures in the 37-point rout that lifted Big Chill in a tie with idle Cebuana Lhuillier at 6-2 behind the perfect 8-0 card of early semifinalist NLEX.

Earlier, Jaymo Eguilos nailed a jumper with five seconds left as Boracay Rum nipped Cafe France, 77-75, after the Waves blew a 10-point lead, 75-65, with less than three minutes left.
At 3-5, Erase Plantcenta, Boracay Rum and Cafe France still have a slim chance of advancing to the quarterfinals.
