New PBA champ Roger Pogoy adds second ring after marrying longtime girlfriend

MANILA, Philippines — Just less than two weeks removed from winning his first PBA ring, Roger Pogoy got his second after marrying his longtime girlfriend Love Portes.

The two tied the knot on November 8. They got engaged last January.

The 29-year-old Pogoy won his first PBA championship last October 29 as an instrumental piece for TNT, which closed out Magnolia in six games.

The former Far Eastern University standout, one of the deadliest shooters in the league today, averaged 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the Philippine Cup finals.
