B.League: Nagoya rises, Toyama picks up rare win

MANILA, Philippines—Ray Parks and Nagoya notched back-to-back wins, beating Hiroshima, 82-76, in the Japan B.League Wednesday night at Park Arena Komaki.
The Diamond Dolphins, who have won seven of their last nine games, climbed to eighth place with a 7-5 record.
Article continues after this advertisementScott Eatherton scored a game-high 18 points for Nagoya while Parks had seven points, three rebounds and two assists.
Dwight Ramos and Toyama also won, defeating host Kyoto, 94-80, to stop a two-game slide at Kyoto City Gymnasium.
The Grouses have split their last four games after going winless in their first eight starts.
Article continues after this advertisementJulian Mavunga starred for Toyama after tallying a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Joshua Smith added 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Ramos registered seven points in 17 minutes for the Grouses, who banked on a strong second quarter.
