MANILA, Philippines—Mere weeks after he got his first PBA championship, Troy Rosario has started to put his and his family’s future in place.
Though Rosario still has a lot left in the tank, he has already decided to get into the agriculture business like some of the retired players from the league.
“Before I used to ask permission if I can plant, now I have my own piece of land. #TYL #Blessed,” wrote TNT’s Rosario in Filipino in an Instagram post.
Rosario recently helped the Tropang Giga to the 2021 Philippine Cup beating Magnolia 4-1 in the seven-game series.
The 6-foot-7 forward is at the prime of his life at 29 but he’s already eager to start his business outside of basketball.
Other PBA players who’ve invested in the agriculture business are Marc Pingris, Kerby Raymundo, Ryan Araña, and Denok Miranda.
Araña also congratulated Rosario on his agricultural investment.
“Agricultural land is always a good investment, congrats bro,” wrote Araña.
