Top team Kawasaki too much for last-placed Ibaraki

MANILA, Philippines—Ibaraki got swept in its weekend matchup against league and East Conference leader Kawasaki losing the second game, 93-67, Sunday at the Robots’ home arena of Adastria Mito Arena.

The Brave Thunders improved to an 11-3 record while Ibaraki, which lost the Saturday game, 81-72, fell to a league-worst 2-12.

Kawasaki quickly established its dominance, taking a 26-12 lead at the end of the first quarter and never letting the Robots come close the whole game.

Nick Fazekas nearly notched a triple-double as he put up 19 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists to lead Kawasaki

Jordan Heath added 18 points and six rebounds for the Brave Warriors while Matt Janning pitched in 16 points.

Marc Trasolini led the Robots with 16 points and five rebounds while Eric Jacobsen had 13 points and nine boards.

Javi Gomez de Liaño, who had a breakout performance of 13 points on Saturday, went scoreless on 0-4 shooting.
