MANILA, Philippines — Veteran guard Alex Cabagnot attended his first practice at Terrafirma on Tuesday, three days since being surprisingly let go by San Miguel Beer.
So far, Cabagnot seems to be fitting in well with his new teammates.
Terrafirma rookie James Laput welcomed Cabagnot on the team on his Instagram with the nine-time PBA champion not wasting any time in ribbing the 6-foot-9 center.
The 39-year-old Cabagnot, known for his ability to make clutch shots, will be expected to lead a young Terrafirma side into the playoffs.
San Miguel traded Cabagnot, a one-time Finals MVP for Simon Enciso.
The Dyip finished 10th in the 2021 Philippine Cup, missing the quarterfinals cut due to inferior quotient.
